gilt Bedouin hollow bracelet from Yemen, most probably
Hadhramaut. There are similar samples, with more important spikes form

made by a master silversmith. Very
good alloy of silver. In excellent conditions, with a small bump at
the end and one near the ends. It measure about 22.5 cm. (

inner diameter is ca 7.2

An exquisite antique silver
and pink coral Bedouin
necklace, from Yemen. Both the small " hirz " or charm case and the
beads are matching and of great quality. Superb silky patina and real
coral ! The coins below show the date of 1371 and 1374 from Hegira (
1951 and 1954 AD ). Excellent workmanship on very good alloy of silver.
The diameter of the bigger beads ( below ) is 2.2 cm. ( 0.86" ) and 1.7
cm. ( 0.66" ) for the smaller ( up ). Recently restrunk on strong wire. It measure about

and the letter "
A " for the years 1925-26. Medium grade silver ( 600 ). See similar sample in " Enchanted Jewelry of Egypt "

American size is 8 1/2 and french size is 18. The inner diameter is 18
mm. ( 0.70" ) and inner circumference 58 mm. ( 2.28"). Weighs 4 grams (

non-precious metal Bedouin ear ornaments from Yemen or Saudi Arabia. Half
domes with appliqués and chain pendants, with small bells. Excellent
quality of workmanship. One of the wire is missing. About 40 to 50 years
old. They measure from

A beautiful antique
mixed metals Bedouin hinjed bracelet from Nubia or Sudan. Rare
design, lithgly different than the more heavy pieces. Probably from the
Bishariya Tribe.These piece were
made and worn in Southern Nubia and in the Rashaida and Bishariya Tribes, in Sudan.
Nice patina. In good conditions, no repairs. The
stem is recent and fit very well. Aa good piece for connoisseurs ! See similar samples in " Africa
adorned " by Angela Fisher, p. 277-279 and in " Enchanted Jewelry of Egypt " by Azza
Fahmy, p. 133 and 148. The height is 4.8 cm. ( 1.88" ) and the inner diameter about
