A gorgeous old silver gilt Bedouin hollow bracelet from Yemen, most probably Hadhramaut. There are similar samples, with more important spikes form the eastern provinces of Saudi Arabia ( See " The Art of Bedouin Jewellery ..." by Heather Colyer Ross, p. 101 ). The openwork is remarkable, certainly made by a master silversmith. Very good alloy of silver. In excellent conditions, with a small bump at the end and one near the ends. It measure about 22.5 cm. ( 8.85" ) in circumference and the height is 2.8 cm. ( 1.10" ). The inner diameter is ca 7.2 cm. ( 2.83" ). Weighs 144 grams ( 5.07 Oz ).

Excellent applied workmanship on the charm case with matching silver beads of the same quality, all presenting the hallmark or signature of the silversmith, in arabic calligraphy. An exquisite antique silver and pink coral Bedouin necklace, from Yemen. Both the small " hirz " or charm case and the beads are matching and of great quality. Superb silky patina and real coral ! The coins below show the date of 1371 and 1374 from Hegira ( 1951 and 1954 AD ). Excellent workmanship on very good alloy of silver. The diameter of the bigger beads ( below ) is 2.2 cm. ( 0.86" ) and 1.7 cm. ( 0.66" ) for the smaller ( up ).   Recently restrunk on strong wire. It measure about 55.5 cm. ( 21.85" ) in circumference, all included. Probably from the Bishariya Tribe.These piece were made and worn in Southern Nubia and in the Rashaida  and Bishariya Tribes, in Sudan. Nice patina. In good conditions, no repairs. The stem is recent and fit very well. Aa good piece for connoisseurs !
