A wonderful pair of large silver-gilt Turkoman / Turkmen hexagonal pectoral " Göndschük " from Tekke Tribe, Central Asia. Excellent workmanship in good alloy of silver fire-gilded. The gold wash is in perfect coditions. The dangles are in silver too. Embellished with superb color cornelians or agate stones. First half of the 20th century. See similar piece in " The Arts and Crafts of Turkestan " by Johannes Kalter, p. 119 and in " Bijoux Ethniques d'Afrique, d'Asie et des Iles du Pacifique " , collection René van der Star, p.97. An exceptionnal antique rectangular silver nielloed and fire-gilt amulet container from Bukhara, in Uzbekistan. Chased silver on both sides decorated with black niello and small glass beads ( many missing ). The two lateral sides are decorated too. The front and the back side are fire-gilded and present the date of 1328 from Hegira, about 1910 AD and a written inscription ( see pictures 2 and 3 ). On the top, one other inscription with the date of 1329. The russian coins are dated 1915 AD. Some of the small silver chains are missing. Openable on the top. Exceptionnal quality of workmanship, museum quality piece ! A wonderful pair of antique silver " snake " Uzbek bracelets, from the Central Asia. Very old pieces, late 19th, early 20th century, with some signs of age and wear. A great antique silver Turkoman double-headed "dagdan " talisman, from Tekke Tribe, Turkmenistan. First half of the 20th century. Very good alloy of silver, fire-gilt and decorated with braun, red and turquoise glass stones. Two small loops show old repair ( see pictures ). The highly stylized double-headed eagle was an emblem of the Seljuks and considered as " holy and sacred " by the silversmiths. This talisman was usually worn by the Turkmen womens. A beautiful antique rectangular silver Tajik amulet container from Turkestan or Northern Afghanistan. Chased silver on both sides. The front side is partially fire-gilded and present the date of 1333 from Hegira, about 1915 AD. Nice silver chain with russian coins ( dated from 1905 to 1915 ). Openable, it is just fixed with a stem connected to one bead attached at the silver chain. Excellent quality of silver alloy. Early 20th century. The upper filigree decoration is missing. A very good sample for collectors. See similar piece in " Uzbekistan " by Johannes Kalter and Margareta Pavaloi, p. 300. It measure about 9 cm. ( 3.54" ) in height, all included, and the width is 10 cm. ( 3.93" ). The circumference of the silver chain is ca 79 cm. ( 31.10" ). Weighs 172 grams ( 6.06 Oz ).

An exquisiste antique  fire-gilded silver Turkoman bracelet, from the Teke Tribe. Great patina due to the age and intense use. Beautiful honey color carnelians. Very old piece, late 19th, early 20th century, with signs of age and wear. Much of the gold-wash has worn off, offering a great patina. These bracelets can be difficult to fit and they cannot be bent to change their shape : your measurements should be close to the following. The height is 7.7 cm. ( 3.03" ) and the space at the opening measure 3 cm. ( 1.18" ) at one end, 3.5 cm. ( 1.37" ) at the other. The inner circumference ( including the space at the openning ) is approx. 17.3 cm. ( 6.81" ). Weighs 200 grams ( 7.05 Oz ).

A superb antique silver gilt Khorezem or Karakalpak jewellery for fastening to the bonnet, in the shape of " bothe " ( paisley ) from Khiva in Uzbekistan. A very decorative piece, easy to wear ( as necklace, pendant, etc. ). Thin silver sheet, fire-gilt, decorated with pale coral and turquoises or glass stones. Great filigree work. The dangles are crushed as usual for these pieces and two are missing. Worn in the back side. Late 19th Century. See similar sample in " Uzbekistan " by Johannes Kalter and Margarita Pavaloi, p. 288. In original conditions and complete with all the ethnic decorations, shell-fish, small bells and glass beads dangles. Embellished with fine cornelians or agate stones and, in the venter, one Cameo.
