An attractive antique
non-precious metal torque from
Pakistan ( Swat ? ). Great design ringed in spiral spring
using only one big metal thread. Embellsihed with two cornelians or
agate stones on the center of a lotus flower ( very old representation,
back to the 7th century ). Well preserved, with an old repair on the
back. First half of 20th
century. Excellent alloy of silver. Worn by years of traditionnal use.

finelly handworked. The back is made of copper. The stem at the back is
missing. The bead in the center seem be colored coral or bamboo
fossilized. The three circular forms symbolize the three gems of
